Standard Ride — $20

This 2-hour round-trip train ride takes you through Oahu’s Leeward side at a leisurely 15 miles per hour, offering breathtaking views of the Waianae Mountain range and the sparkling ocean at Kahe Point. Along the way, our fully narrated tour will share fascinating stories of Hawaii’s sugar plantation days, the significance of the Oahu Railway & Land Company (OR&L), and notable landmarks. Stops in Ko Olina for ice cream on all rides except Sunday at 1PM. Picks up in Ewa Beach and Ko Olina.

Premium Ride - $35

For those seeking a touch of elegance and history, our Parlor Car 64 offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Built in 1900 for Oahu Railway & Land Co. founder, Benjamin F. Dillingham, this luxury parlor car was designed for entertaining Hawaii’s royalty and visiting dignitaries. Restored to its original splendor, this intimate experience is only available on the second Sunday of each month. Seats sell out months in advance, book early.

2025 Holiday Express Information

Join the Hawaiian Railway for our Holiday Express nighttime train ride!

All guests are welcome to dress comfy in their holiday pajamas as they ride the train decorated with hundreds of lights. At the end of the ride a very special guest will be at the train station waiting to greet his guests.

Holiday Express train ride will be held on the following nights

Friday, Nov. 28 Saturday Nov. 29

Friday, Dec. 5 Saturday Dec. 6

Friday, Dec. 12 Saturday, Dec. 13

Friday, Dec. 19 Saturday, Dec. 20

The Holiday Express leaves the station at 7:00pm.

Check in time starts at 5:45pm to pick up tickets no later than 6:45pm. Seats are a first come first serve basis so how you are standing in line that is how you pick your seats.

Cost is $25.00 per person 2 years and up.

Lap Child 23 months or your are free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Iwilei Roundhouse (1908-1959) Post WWII

  • O.R. & L Co. Engine 70, Circa 1904

  • Oahu's Railway's first excursion after the end of WWII on the Leeward coast just south of Kaena Point near Arch Rock.

  • Locomotive #80 on the Iwilei turntable. 2-8-2 "Mikado Type" locomotive built in 1926

  • O.R.&L.'s #85, built in 1910. These 34 ton wheeler 4-6-0;s handled the majority of the passengers runs during WWII.

  • Parlor Car 57, 1940s

  • W.A. Co. 6 the locomotive that inspired Hawaiian Railway Society.
